Fried Bihun

This is a food from my childhood memory. I grew up with 3 other sisters, that makes us 4 sisters together and parents, 6 of us in a family (my brother was born when I was 18 years old). I consider that as big family for me. It’s like, every time we cook it will be a lot, the whole wok 😀.

If we cook the traditional serving local dishes, that means there will a lot of pots and pans involved, which means we will be arguing who’s turn to wash the dishes. But when my mom makes Fried Bihun, there will only be 1 wok to wash 😉

Fried bihun is one of my favourite meal. Something light, something simple to cook. Let’s try this recipe with me?

The idea is to keep it frying as you toss each of them in the frying pan, keep frying 🔥 and stirring. Make sure nothing sticks to the wok 😉 Practice this with everything with “Fried” menu.

Prepare Ingredients

1. Cooking Oil

2. 1 Onion – Slice Thin

3. 2 Garlic – Slice Thin

4. 300 gms beef – slice thin

5. Grind chilli / Adabi Fried Bihun Paste

6. Oyster Sauce

7. Tomato Sauce

8. 2 Eggs

9. 1 Packet Bihun – soaked for 30 minutes (traditionally my parents pick this brand *Bintang*)

10. 1 bunch of Pak Choy/ Sawi

11. Shrimp

12. Salted Soy Sauce (salt not needed anymore 😀)

Now straight into the wok and keep frying 😉 medium heat fire 🔥and stir
